Supporting SuSE 10.2 with the newest Parhelia driver release

After reading a topic in the Matrox Technical Support Forums I felt a little bit guilty about being mostly completely absent in the forum for more than one month now.

Sorry guys, at the moment, my time is _VERY_ limited.
At the moment, releasing an updated version of the mtx driver that should do well with SuSE 10.2 is all I can do for you.

* Added support for SuSE 10.2 (another curious Xorg version) in install.sh

Schade Matrox...
Jetzt haben sie auch noch das Forum dicht ganz gemacht.
Denken die denn einfach nicht mit?

Thanks very much for your work on the Matrox Parhelia drivers.

A few comments:

1) With Fedora Core 6 and drivers the initial install and reboot resulted in a hang with screen corruption while it was booting up. I had to use a rescue disc, do:
> chroot /mnt/sysimage
and from the / dir on the hard disk run
> Xorg -config
to build /tmp/xorg.conf.new and copy that into /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Then rebooting worked and the driver appears to be installed.

2) The driver leaves lines in the upper left corner area of the monitor for Gnome pop-down lists for Applications and System. The repaint does not remove those boundary lines properly.

3) I have not yet figured out how to enable dual head or 90 degree rotation to portrait mode.

4) Why doesn't Matrox more quickly pick up your changes and rev their own publically available driver with your changes? Without googling a lot I never would have found your drivers.
